    BRONZE & CAST-IRON TEAPOTS

    • High-quality Bronze & Cast-iron teapots are valued for their heat retention properties and can be produced and formed with a relatively low level of technology. Seasoning is used to protect the bare cast iron from rust and to create a non-stick surface.
    • Our Chinese cast iron teapots are produced using traditional methods and feature an enameled interior. They are equipped with a stainless steel filter for preparing your favorite tea.
    • Our collection includes Tetsubin (鉄瓶) - Japanese cast-iron kettles with a pouring spout, a lid, and a handle crossing over the top, used for boiling and pouring hot water for drinking purposes, such as for making tea. A close relative to the Tetsubin is the Yakkan. The main difference is that the Yakkan is made from copper.
